Pianist and composer Eve Risser founded this ensemble, a distinctive voice in contemporary French improvised music. The group blends the Norwegian folk sensibility and electronic experimentation of Kvien Brunvoll and Myhr with the jazz and improvisation background of Romanian composer George Dumitriu, and Gouband’s percussive invention.

The band works as a collective. Pieces are built on rhythm and texture rather than conventional harmonic structure, and much of the material is composed spontaneously in the room, arriving at a kind of invented folklore that belongs to no single country.

Live at Atelier du Plateau (BMC Records, 2025) is the group’s first album, recorded live at the Atelier du Plateau in Paris.
